The Australia Localisation app ensures compliance with Australia's Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations. The system automates GST postings by correctly categorising transactions based on supplier types (Local Capital, Non-Capital Goods and Import supplier) and customer types (Local, Export and Exempt customer). It offers flexible BAS reporting methods, allowing companies to choose between the Full and Simpler methods of BAS reporting. Based on the Full reporting method, all required Sales labels (from G1 to G9) and Purchase labels (from G10 to G20) as part of BAS reporting. The localisation provides Simpler Reporting just for the BAS labels—1A, 1B, and G1 —without the supplier and customer type definitions in the master data. Furthermore, ERPNext offers accounts payable with a Payment Proposal feature for local suppliers and can generate standard ABA files for bank payment processing.
